I’ve got 5Kg of grain (approx as didn’t weigh)
26 litres of strike water
- Temp: 66
- Time: 60min
- out temp: 75 (well 68 - hard to get brew in a bag going)
- out time: 10
Sparge 1 litre of water.
Boil
boil time: 60
hops at: 10 and 0
Sparge 1 litre
Ferment
Cooled overnight as still don’t have a chiller
OG is: 1045
Got 20 litres which is about perfect for this recipe.
Bottle and Keg
This smelled amazing!
FG is 1006
Bottled on 22nd Sept. So 7 weeks in the fermenter. Hops have been in there all the time.

8th October.
Well, it is huge. Sort of wakes you up with a zing. No grassy notes from too many hops / been left in too long.
